WORSHIP SERVICES
Pastor Anthony Poston Our pastoral team, led by our senior pastor Rev. Anthony Poston, is here to serve your spiritual needs. We lead the church, yes; but we are ever cognizant of the fact that we are also fellow supplicants before the throne of grace, in every way learners as much as we are teachers. The distinctiveness of the Lakeside Baptist ministries is seen nowhere more clearly than in our Christian education program. All are encouraged to attend Sunday School and be Blessed by the in-depth Bible studies. If you have any questions or need direction for a class, see our Sunday School Director, Basil Haunn or Asst. Director, Sue Jones in the fellowship hall each Sunday morning. We understand well the individualized learning challenges provided by various ages and interests. So, we've organized a Sunday School Ministries program that accommodates all our groups.
We believe our outstanding Department of Music offers a wide variety of opportunities for those interested in using their musical talents to serve the Lord. These include: ![]() CALENDAR OF SERVICE EVENTS

Pray for our Missionaries, our Troops and Haiti
In response to the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti, the South Carolina Disaster Relief Officials were among several Southern Baptist disaster response teams mobilizing to assess relief needs after the largest earthquake in 200 years. An assessment team is being organized by the International Mission Board and state convention to enter the country as soon as possible. They will work with Haitian Baptists to identify immediate needs and will draft mid and long term plans for an ongoing relief effort. Money can be donated through the South Carolina Baptist Convention. 100% of all donations received through the SCBC will go directly to relief for victims. Designate your check for "Haiti Disaster Relief" and mail to: SC Baptist Convention, Haiti Disaster Relief, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. They added that people should not send clothing or food as it would cost more to send it than it is worth. Please pray for the people of Haiti and the relief workers. 8 AM - 12 PM and 1 PM - 4:30 PM
